With summer in full force, many dairy farmers around the country are looking for ways to manage cows in hot, humid weather.

Dairy Australia’s website has some quick handy tips as well as it’s Cool Cows manual which provides detailed information. There are also tools for managing nutrition and pastures in hot weather.

A number of Dairy UP projects are contributing to the industry’s knowledge bank on managing cows in hot, humid conditions. The outcomes will contribute to future industry extension resources.
